Re: The Robin Masters Estate (Pahonu)
Hi Eagle, I can almost guarantee that you will be able to swim in the tidal pool/turtle enclosure, as all the beaches are open to the public. The only time you might have an issue with it not being open to the public would be around the Christmas break when Obama would probably be in the area to vi...

Re: The Robin Masters Estate (Pahonu)
As much I hate (hate! HATE!) the idea of its being for Obama, for a nickname -- Obama's Ohana? Gag me with a spoon . . . . (what's the emoticon for "barf"?) Good one Golf and I hate the thought too. Here's another one.....more of a stretch...... there is Camp David and now we also have Camp Marty. ...

Re: The Robin Masters Estate (Pahonu)
I'm really glad to hear that the house is probably going to be preserved! I also agree that it would be a terrible place place to stay from a security standpoint. It would bee too hard to really secure. (Something we've all experienced from watching Magnum and Five-O. ;) ) I was lucky enough to be ...

Re: The Robin Masters Estate (Pahonu)
I'm picturing Eve with her feet up, a bit sad, but with a celebratory drink in her hand, letting out a huge sigh of relief......finally some privacy. Thanks Eve for hanging on to Pahonu as long as you did!!! Lets hope Marty (or whoever really owns it) restores your grandparents place and breathes n...

Is it possible that Tom Selleck and/or his brothers have bought the estate? Don't they
have real estate holdings.

Re: The Robin Masters Estate (Pahonu)
Thought as much. Yeah, if they were borrowing money for new development/redevelopment, wouldn't they have to have the approval of the local historical preservation police? Also, they'd have any required approvals as a contingency in any loan. I presume that document recordings aren't public in Hawa...

Re: The Robin Masters Estate (Pahonu)
Hi guys, Well, it looks like Pahonu is sold. There was a filing at the DLNR Bureau of Conveyances which has the transfer from Eve's trust to the newly formed “Waimanalo Paradise LLC” out of Delaware (http://www.bizapedia.com/de/WAIMANALO-PARADISE-LLC.html). The contact name on the deed is Seth R. M...

Re: The Robin Masters Estate (Pahonu)
hi all, after reading this thread, all 123 pages of it, I felt obliged to join. I'll be heading to the estate next week to hit the tidal pool, front gate for a peek, and perhaps the hike for some aerial shots and take the area in myself after seeing some gorgeous shots posted. Three decades later a...

Re: The Robin Masters Estate (Pahonu)
Well things will get interesting now, the estate was sold. Off of Rick Romer's Blog. Wes Thanks for the heads up, Wes. Could still be just a rumour though. Wednesday, February 18, 2015 Two Estates Are in Escrow Can't believe it's been almost 1-1/2 years since I've posted on this blog. Well, conside...
