Doc Ibold wrote:N1095A, where did you get the info of Hillerman saying they were the happiest years of his life?
Just curious.
I read it online, must have been 2-3 years ago. He did an interview, and it was posted. I'm not sure the date of the interview.

TC: "Pickled egg please".
One of the funniest scenes ever. My wife makes pickled eggs often, and when we're in the living room, and she goes toward the kitchen, I always say "Pickled egg please." Of course she knows the gag by now, and usually just shakes her head and rolls her eyes.

I wouldn't be at all suprised if Mr. Hillerman shows up. He's said that his years on MPI wer the happiest of his life. I seriously doubt he'd pass on the chance to work with the guys again, if only for a small cameo. Anyway, Fingers crossed. And you're absoultely right. The more you watch MPI, the m...

I loved Simon & Simon as well. MPI and S&S were my Thursday nights. Although S&S was also a favorite, I never felt the closeness of kinship if you will, as I did with MPI.

With a little internet search I discovered that Hawaii does in fact require an annual vehicle safety inspection, and the sticker is displayed on the right rear bumper. I assume this is what is seen on the Ferrari and other vehicles. I have been unable to find any photos. Does anyone know what the de...

Sleuth does that with Simon & Simon, and Rockford as well. Particularly annoying since I have MPI seasoms 1-4 on DVD. I've sent then many emails regarding this, but never got a reply.

Sticker on Ferrari rear bumper (early episodes)

Anyone notice the white bumper sticker with a 5 and what appears to be a shamrock or 4 leaf clover on the right side rear bumper of the Freeari in early episodes? In Three Minus Two" we see a similar sticker on one of the junked cars at the police impound yard when Magnum and TC are checking out the...

One of the things I found interesting from that episode was the dialogue of Mr. Dollinger when Magnum went to see Mr. Dollinger for the first time. During the dialogue, Mr. Dollinger states that he only gets $2,000.00 a month for the lease of the land, and tears up and says something to the effect ...

It's cool of Ferrari to provide this service. There is a 1985 308 GTS on Ebay now that the seller claims to be the "Original" car from the series. Problem is, they never used an '85, and the one they're selling is a Euro version with a different exhaust and front spoiler.

Hey, great flub spotting N1095A ! I've updated the episode guide. When Magnum is sending his Mayday over the radio, there is a cut to a yacht at sea. That appears to be footage from the movie "The Final Countdown" starring Kirk Douglass, James Farentino (sp), and Martin Sheen. This one is very inte...

James, about your work on the site.

I just want to say how much I admire your dedication. Very late last night I was watching "Operation Silent Night", and noticed some flubs. I posted them to that episode's forum, and today they are included in the episode synopsis. That shows amazing dedication and attention to detail on your part. ...

I was at a local car show about seven years ago where there was a gentleman from Minneapolis that had a 328 from the show on display. He had received documentation and a plaque from Ferrari of North America that it was indeed one of the vehicles used in the show and from what he told me, that the f...
