Cool! With the size, you might be able to get a more controlled explosion, and if you shoot it right, it will look much bigger. I think the .357 would turn one of these to dust
Ya might want to take video of the whole process, and send it to Chip Foose. I'm sure he'd get a kick outa it.

SL, Thanks! I would've sworn I read "Spider." Who'd name a horse "Spike"? But who'd name a horse "Spider" either? :? :D Thanks for that quote. I'd LOVE to see his tack room, though when I owned a horse, I rode English and jumped, as his daughter does. So maybe he'd tolerate me in his tack room. htt...

Tom Selleck nominated for Emmy!
Up for an Emmy again is Tom Selleck, who will have just returned from filming his fifth Jesse Stone CBS mystery movie in Nova Scotia. He's nominated for the fourth one (Jesse Stone: Sea Change) as outstanding lead actor in a miniseries or a movie. Selleck won for his series Magnum, P.I. in 1984, the...

There are a lot of pictures of that car on the website Golf has her MGI video. If you type Magnum PI into their search engine, you'll find the pics. Note how the car on display has no Ferrari badges not even in the center of the rims, It has a pair of plastic race car, go cart seats, and the hood ve...

Remember Kerosene won't explode, just burn. Gasoline will explode, but is more dangerous.
How about trying this?

This stuff is legal in all 50 states, and can be detonated by firing a bullet into it. Any calibre.

IH, Explanation of the acquisition of the rubber chicken is three posts above your question. If James wants to use any of these as avatars, it'd probably be better to use a still picture instead of trying to get a snap from the video, since the video is so blurry. There are still pictures of everyo...

I do have a 1969 Dodge Charger model that I've been saving. If I can work out a reliable pyro set-up, I'd be willing to paint it to look like the challenger from the shot, and give it a try. My concern is getting a proper looking detonation. I think the gasoline in a zip lock bag will do it. I hate ...

I understand the money issue. It would be different if the money was for, say a GI Joe Surf ski, if such a thing existed. But to put a lot of cash out just to blow it up would be kind of, well, crazy. I do have a digital video camera, but It's just a cheap one. I don't know what kind of quality I co...

Golf, The one that was in the show was a dodge challenger. There's also a model that would have to be built for around $20. I'd be more than happy to build and paint it for you. I'm very good at models. Check out my Dodge Power Wagon from Simon & Simon below. The rocket engines would give you fire t...

My mind is racing. There are a LOT of Dodge challenger toy cars on Ebay. http://i24.ebayimg.com/01/i/000/b4/fc/ea96_1_b.JPG I'm thinking if you run a hack saw down through the body below the windshield, put a couple of holes in the floor, and stuff a couple of toy rocket motors up there, you could g...

Kind of an off topic note here, but David Hemmings also played Dr. Charles Henry Moffet, creator of Airwolf in the Bellisario series "Airwolf". I've noticed that a lot of actors rotated among the Bellisario shows in the 80's. Also appearing on "Airwolf" were Kathleen Lloyd, Jeff MacKay, Lance Legaul...
