I think I found a flub. Look at Magnum's shorts when he is on the court saying hello to Ginger near the beginning of the episode. He then drives back to the estate and goes into Higgins' study and is wearing the same shirt but different shorts...

One more thing about this. I hope you guys do not mind me getting sentimental on you, but I remember that my grandfather hung his tools up on nails inside and outside of his workshop and barn. Seeing tools hanging from nails on the house in the picture a few posts back reminded of it. Thanks for ind...

I can see the counterfeit angle but why $2 bills? Why not 5s or 10s? I agree that most of us do not see 2s that often and we would not realize they are fake until its too late...

Rank the Jesse Stone Movies?

Anyone want to take a shot at ranking the Jesse Stone movies? A couple of things that I noticed in watching them: 1) It was cool how Suit woke up from his coma asking for something Jesse had read to him from a book ala a pint of stout from MPI's Infinity and Jelly doughnuts 2) Kathy Baker is ok but ...

I was at the grocery store and saw a seasoning sauce brand called 'Koops". That reminded me of Coops beer...

Also, I just opened an old wooden cigar box on top my dresser and found a $2 bill ! That also reminded me of MPI.

All will be missed. Each was a pioneer of sorts in their own field. I pray for the families as they process thier loss. As far as MJ goes, it is unfortunate that his private struggles with reality, fame, family dysfunction, and an obvious lack of satisfaction with himself will possibly overshadow th...

Take it with a grain of salt. Rush Limbaugh was fired from several radio stations prior to the late 80s because he was not good on the radio and look what has happened since... Anyone ever hear of Murray Langston? He was an aspiring stand-up comedian and was not doing very well. He came up with the ...

My first reaction to the recent photo of Lloyd was, "Yikes!" But, then again, nealry 30 years has produced a change in all of us. When I see myself in the mirror, I go "Double Yikes!". Thanks for posting the recent photos of MPI stars and guests. It is somewhat sobering to see their changes and it i...

It seemed to me like the writers were past deadline and needed to write an episode very quickly. Someone said, "Here's and idea" and 15 minutes later they had the adventure company episode...

I purchased the season 5 DVDs just to see Selleck. He was very good where he was featured (not enough for my liking). The Lemon Bars episode was very cool. It was like going to a little league baseball game with Babe Ruth, Willie Mays, Ozzie Smith, and Johnny Bench sitting in the stands. The game wa...

I know nothing about the game but it sure looks like a great deal of fun! I wish there had been opportunities to play soccer in my hometown when I was a kid. If nothing else, soccer looks like an excellent way to stay in shape...

Some folks do not like the episodes that feature the other characters more heavily than TS but, for me, it lended to making the show a stronger show.

Agreed. What I like is discussing the politics of the MPI show within the context of its era of time. When we do this, our own beliefs come into play sometimes. That's all I was trying to say.
