In the sixties I liked Star Trek, The Dean Martin Show and any talk or variety show that had any one of the following on; Lola Falana, Joey Heatherton , Juliet Prowse or Rita Mareno. Seventies I liked an obscure little show called Then Came Bronson that got me hooked on motorcycles. Eighties of cour...

I wonder how the episodes are packaged to the stations when they purchase them. Our local retro-station here in Chicago shows Magnum, PI almost, but not exactly in order. We are now in Season #2 which they started out with "Billy Joe Bob", then skipped to "Three Minus Two", then "Jororo Kill", "The ...

I recall seeing a picture of the surf ski hanging from a wall or the rafters of the Diamond Head Studios that David took. Didn't he do an article for The Los Angeles Tribune Sunday Magazine a year or two ago about Magnum, PI sites around Oahu, or am I mixing that up with this write up. I go all the ...

Indeed! ........I'm not sure about any Thanksgiving episodes, but I always thought that if there was, there should be a shot of Higgins at the head of a long table giving the toast (as only he can do) with a story of a past Thanksgiving celebrated during a war in some far off land with the usual lis...

From: Selleck Lover "14. You secretly try on your MPI Halloween costume all year long." Number 24) You don't have a MPI Halloween costume due to the fact you already own 4 Paradise Found Parrot Shirts , 2 in black and two in red, still wear your 80's mustache and have too many pairs of shorts cut 6 ...

This is a tough one, but for me I guess I would have to go with Season #4 followed very closely by season #7. Season #4 due to the introduction of my all time favorite recurring character, Luther H. Gillis and, a return visit by him 12 episodes later. I also loved "Rembrandts Girl" with Carol Burnet...

Just caught this episode again on a local Chicago station. I know this is probably due to my middle-aged, overactive hormone and still infatuated with Erin Gray mind of mine, but I always found it interesting that Tom Selleck and Jackie Ray divorced shortly after this episode. I always pictured Jack...

My vote is for Las Vegas. That destination is normally a fairly reasonable airfare for all points of the Country. You California folks truly have it made, $299.00 air fares to Hawaii, thats about what it costs me to park at O'Hare when I go out of town for a week,,,,,LOL......

I never saw this article before, so thanks for posting the link, Golf. I agree with you all, what a jerk with some obvious issues. I find it amazing that he has the gall the critque the show and the actors by bareley watching season one and two. Everything he doesn't like about the Magnum character ...

It's so funny you mention the snorkel shot. My wife loved our trip to Hawaii as it was her first and my second. As you all know, a Hawaii vacation is not cheap so I covertly convinced her that doing Oahu instead of Maui (her choice) would be so much cheaper for us. Of course I had visits to The Ande...

I've been trying to read the label on the bottle of Beer that Cooper was drinking during the poker game. It would be cool if it was "Coops" or "Old Dusseldorf", but I just can't make the label out. Anyone else able to read it?

I took a chance and sent Larry an e-mail thru his web site. I wrote him what a great gesture it was for him to wear the team ring and that it was the talk of the Magnum message boards. I also asked him if John Hillerman might be appearing in some upcoming episodes.... I actually got a response back,...

"Sensory overload" certainly describes how I felt when I was there last April. I was trying to snap pictures and soak up the essence of the Estate all the while my wife was shaking her head wondering when I was going to be done when this "Magnum nonsense" (the nerve!). Thanks to the internet, it is ...

I caught the mention of the third person, a British Billionaire, but didn't hear any names mentioned. Of course, I had to go back and watch my recording to see the team ring on Larry (what a classy act). Perhaps this was a foreshadowing of Mr. Hillerman appearing in a future episode. One can only ho...
