Something that struck me as funny is the fact that John Hillerman appeared in the film "The Last Picure Show" by Peter Bogdanovich, in 1971. Annie Potts was in the sequel, "Texasville", from 1992 or so.

A couple of thoughts regarding this episode: 1. I thought it was strange that TM took off his shirt to jump in after Lauren. Just saw it this past weekend. Outstanding film with outstanding music. My family immediately recognized the MPI locations used in this movie. Kinda fun.

Another minor flub: when TM & TC were flying back to Kaui, in the exterior shot of the chopper, you can definitely see that the pilot is wearing khaki pants. When the camera view switches to an interior shot, TC is most certainly wearing jeans instead.

On last nights episode, in the final scene, Frank Reagan (TS) says to his daughter Erin (Bridget Moynihan), "I know what you are thinking".

Also, the teaser for next weeks episode indicates that a cop is killed and I got the impression it was Danny's partner Jackie.

I do not watch it but my wife does. Therefore I get a complete episode synopsis after every episode!

I agree: Selleck broke out of the Frank Reagan character and threw in a little TM! What sold me was he gave a little bit of that TM giggle/laugh.

We picked up all of our copies at Best Buy. Probably not the best price, but we have them all now!

One final thought from me regarding Me TV: I noticed the video & sound quality of shows on Me TV is much superior to RTV. On RTV some shows were almost unwatchable due to poor visual and sound quality.

Great find Leyland. I like the behind the scenes veiwpoint, especially of our favorite TV show of all time!

If I can offer a criticism: I think the hair is too long. I cannot recall Selleck's hair ever being that long on an episode of MPI. Just my two cents.
