Hi guys . . . . "I can explain"

As most of you have noticed we have been having some issues lately. Unfortunately the format our Founding Father JJ created this awesome Virtual Estate with is old and getting harder and harder to keep up and acceptable for the host.

Our "Mac" is doing what he can to try and keep things working as best as possible but it's really just patchwork until the whole site is updated which, as you'd expect, is an undertaking.

I'm am working on options so we can continue to enjoy this great resource and have been in contact with JJ for his input regarding how we can/should proceed.

I'll keep you all updated with info as I can and it becomes available.

Meanwhile, just remember . . . "It's not my fault!"

We all appreciate your efforts, Conch. Thank you so much. While I am writing you, the newest member here
apparently has just one agenda and that is to sell an investment that has no legal backing/supervision or sanction
from any government and any pro would tell you to not just stay away from, but run!
He sent me his crud in a Magnum Mania private message instead of in the light of day on these boards.
I wouldn't normally ever reveal a private message unless I ran it past you first, Conch, but this caper
ain't on the level. I just don't want my fellow members being taken advantage of. I deleted his link:

I also wanted to thank you and the staff for the continued labor of love demonstrated here with the MM site.

Also, you likely got it squared away but (jic) I wanted to alert you that I was also contacted via PM from the crypto trader on the 27th @ 5:37am. I left the PM alone in case you needed to check something out. I will delete it next time I log in.

No need to respond to my post, I just wanted to make you aware, I bet there may be other members with PMs sitting in their inbox as well. I didn't look at the body of the PM but if there are links in the PM from the crypto trader - DONT CLICK THEM!

Hi Conch,
I have been off air so to speak for several weeks. I return to find you have dealt with an underhand intrusion onto the MM estate. I agree absolutely with the positive comments by each of the guys concerning your exhaustive efforts in dealing with the matter and keeping the show on the road.
I have received one of these PMs. I have not opened it. I am not sure how to delete it. Can I assume it is benign as long as I do not interact with it. Thanks again in advance for your sterling work.

It seems this update has opened the door to more spamming .... "Mac" is adding a filter that will block non-Latin alphabet posts which should cut down on the Russian and Chinese spam.

I also forwarded him the latest porno thread posted by Claude and the spam ..... I locked both but want it reviewed before I delete them.

Thanks for keeping me advised when you see something so I can address it.
