I keep forgetting how old I am and have to keep asking my wife (ConchIndependent ). It seems after 42 everything blends . . . 44 this summer.

I'm 21 so I fall into that age bracket, though I started watching when I was 20. I also was watching starsky and hutch when I was 19 too.

I got most of my DVD's through amazon.com

I'm 44. Started watching when it first aired, I was 13.

I missed the last 3 seasons due to other interests and my first 2 years in the navy.

In 2005 my wife and I separated and I went and purchased the first 2 seasons of MPI on DVD. They rekindled a passion for the series that I had forgotten about for the most part. Seasons 1 -5 really helped me out until my wife and I got back together in 2007. MPI was vital to my interests as a youth and vital to my sanity as an adult. I owe Tom, John, Larry, and Roger a lot because of that.

Dude, that's awesome! Congrats on making that work. Very few manage to pull that off!

No no, wait a minute.
When I first encountered you on MM I thought you were probably a woman in her thirties or early forties (which I think is the average age of a MPI fan).
Yesterday I saw those pictures of yours and I was extremely surprised since you seem in your twenties (in fact I was wondering how such a young girl was a MPI/S&H fan).
Are those pics old or what?
'Cause I can't believe you are 39!
I turned 38 the last July 17th!

I do look extremely young for my age. Those pictures were taken last October. I haven't changed much since then. I turned 39 in June.
I keep getting asked for ID a lot...

I'm shocked!
You look 10 years (I would say 15 years) younger!

I know. It can be annoying at times. Like last year, I was looking forward to my first beer after a three month training session for a marathon (I don't drink when I am in training). So I really wanted a beer after the marathon. And I get asked for ID. Certainly didn't have any on me. Boy, was I pissed!

The US really cracks me up with its obsession with keeping people from drinking alcohol. How bizarre is it that a 39 year old can't order a beer!
