Re: Hawaii Five-O: Any Fans?
A great HFO trivia question:
Who is the lady doing the hula in the intro?
Answer................
Helen Kuoha Torco
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2FuoZaDvIo0
Another piece of trivia.....the club scene with Steve staring at Helen is a mock up of the Queen's Surf Barefoot Bar (note: the drum face has SM on it which stands for Sterling Mossman). Helen used to dance for Sterling and the Barefoot Bar Gang. The scene was supposedly filmed at the Outrigger Canoe Club because they needed more room for the cameras. I read somewhere that she was paid $150 for that long day of filming.

Here is an old episode of The Mike Douglas Show which co starred Gwen Verdon (Magnum's mom) and special guest Jack Lord.
It would be interesting to know what Jack's art work is going for now in 2016.

Great to see a few of his tile paintings....and not badly priced either.
I agree with you that Jack was a gentleman.....supposedly he was a perfectionist too!
Re: Hawaii Five-O: Any Fans?
I'm sure a few of our members haven't seen this old Pahonu footage from the original HFO - Woe to Wo Fat airing April/1980......I'll also post it in the Pahonu thread too - enjoy! Try not to laugh at Steve's undercover work......reminds me a bit of Higgin's disguises.

Re: Hawaii Five-O: Any Fans?
Was the last season of Five-0 filming at the same time as the first season of Magnum? Did Tom,Selleck get Jack Lord's old dressing room?

I don't believe there was any overlap in both shows. HFO's last show aired in April which means they probably stopped filming in either Feb. or March. MPI first aired in Dec. 1980 so there was definitely a small gap between them. No idea on the dressing room question, but I'm sure someone else on MM will know.

Here are a few more clips from the episode Sweet Terror that were taken at Pahonu.
