Another series by Bellisario; Airwolf.

I don't think it's aired on TV for a while, so now is a good time to catch a glimpse!

I watched a bit of the pilot episode. Lo and behold, there was Eugene Roche - our own Luther Gillis, in a role as a senator. Unfortunetaly his character is killed off very early.

I was catching up with this old favorite of mine a few months back on the IMDB and enjoyed the first few episodes of season one; despite the 1980s music, the show is quite fresh!

P.S. I like the music, too!

I just tried to play this game on my old Nintendo system. May, it's hard. Why didn't they also make a Magnum game???

Roche also featured, more heavily in the second season episode 'Firestorm', as a pilot who had turned to drink after a crash, and was seeing strange lights in the night outside his desert home.
It also features one of the best endings of the series IMO.

And yes, that is where my 'Firestorm' tag came from. The episode was on the day I set up a very early internet account, and it sort of stuck.

Watching it right now on the Esquire channel(235 on DirecTV). "Shadow of the Hawke" from 1984! With guest stars; Ernest Borgnine, Eugene Roche, John Calvin, W.K. Stratton, David Hemmings, and Dean Wein, all from Magnum!
