It's weird, I can still see all pictures, both on my desktop and mobile. Strange . . .

Anyhoo, The Conch Republic Independence celebrations continue, here's Howard Livingston live from the Smokin' Tuna in Key West . . . Key West Time . . .

The celebration continues with a little Jimmy Buffett, live from the Casa Marina at the Meeting of the Minds 2015, singing the first song he wrote in Key West . . . I Have Found Me a Home . . .

Very neat Conch!

Makes me really miss living in S.Miami and being able to take the MGBGT for a drive aaaalllll the way out to the tip of the keys...across the causeways...water on both sides...the sun..the sand...the palms....makes me sorta wish I'd never come back to this "frozen north"! Gotta be some reason Edgar Casey declared S. FL the ideal place to retire. Key lime pie................yep.

Keys gotta be the closest thing to HI there is and still be on the mainland. I suppose there's a lot of other great sites as well, but I did enjoy the keys while I was able to.

Happy Friday!

I was lucky enough to see James Slater in concert in Key West 2x, both at a holiday concert around New Years alongside Howard Livingston and country duo Joey+Rory. Both excellent shows. Mrs. Conch and I even ran into James and Joey+Rory having breakfast at Blue Heaven (where most portions of this video was recorded) the day after one of the shows. Spoke with them for about 15 minutes, all three very nice people, Joey though stood out as someone special. Her story and passing is very sad.

Awesome, Conch! I greatly admire your sovereign state of mind! Key West is indeed a very special place! LOVE the video clips!! Celebrate and then celebrate some more! I wish I was there! :)

I salute you Jimmy Buffett! A true American Treasure! :)
