#1 Post by StarchedUndershirts »

Hilton is celebrating 50 years on Hawaii by giving away a 6 day, 5 night trip (airfare included for up to 5 people) to the Hilton Hawaiian Village! :D
It's free to enter, and you can enter up to 100 times. I hope one of us wins! :)

The small print says you have to be a "HILTON HHONORS MEMBERS AT TIME OF ENTRY"... I guess that rules out most of us??

When I filled out the entry form, I also joined HHonors. They sent me a pin #, a member #, and thanked me for joining the sweepstakes.

How about that, I am already a Hilton Honors member! Maybe I should enter?
I'll send a photo of me in front of the estate when I win!!

My last trip there in 2007 we stayed on the 22nd floor of the Rainbow Tower on the Diamondhead side. Magnificent view up Waikiki Beach and of Diamondhead. It is a great Hotel but trust me, if you eat meals at the hotel you will definitely need the $50.00/person/day meal allowance. My only complaint was that when we were there the lagoon was going through a refurbishing and was closed...............

USA citizens only! I need to apply for citizenship now!

The sand right outside the Hilton is not as fine as the rest of Waikiki.
It's very gravelly which is strange. I've heard it's shipped there.

When I stayed there in 2010, I noticed they combed the beach first thing in the morning. I don't think they do this in front of the Hilton. Could that make a difference?

FYI: Sportsmansguide.com almost always has a hawaii trip sweepstakes going. It is a pop up when you log on.
