Fires in Thousand Oaks

Hey gang,

Just read online (another website) that the current wild fired in California are close to TS's house in Thousand Oaks...

Anyone hear about this???

Don't know anything about this, but I found this site for "Active fires 10-12-2008 through 10-19-2008" and it doesn't show any fires near Thousands Oaks, which is approximately close. So I don't know...

There was a fire in Simi Valley which is north of Thousand Oaks, but it's out now. (But there may be a new one in Thousand Oaks I don't know about.)

SelleckLover I think the Simi Valley fire is the one I was reading about....

TS and the ranch are fairly safe. The last time a fire went anywhere near the Hidden Valley section of Thousand Oaks, his part of town, was in 1993 or 1994. The winds don't pull the fires through the Conejo Valley(where Thousand Oaks is), they get to the west end of Simi Valley and head down to the coast, burning Malibu instead. If you want to live in the "country" in SoCal, there is always a risk of fire, but the Selleck property seems to be in a pretty safe area.
