Runaway images wanted!

#1 Post by runawayselleck »

Hi there

Has anybody got any images from Runaway? I think it is Selleck's best film but there never seems to be much coverage of the film (its not even out on dvd here in the UK)

Any images could you paste into your reply? (hi res would be amazing)

The more the better, any behind the scenes shots would be great also

Thanks

Runaway Selleck

This is listed as the trailer for TV:

As posted by MagnumILWU, there are many that come up in a Google search, this one is from Youtube:

Hi there, yes I have googled them, they usually are the same image of the movie poster. Knowing that this is the place where the most hardcore selleck fans regularly log into, I thought I would see if anyone has a hard drive full of Runaway pics. If this site doesn't have them, nobody will! ha

Anyway, just seen that iTunes has it for download, so at least I can watch the film again.

Best wishes

I'm not sure what your looking at, but when I Google it, just as I suggested, there are many photo's from the movie, not the poster!

I didn't know that Michael Crichton wrote and directed the film!
What a shame it wasn't a success.

You can get original Runaway movie posters very cheap if you're into that sort of thing.
Going through eBay, it looks like there are some lobby cards with rarer images too...

... didn't want to start a new thread,,,,,,, too funny - The Runaways.

Anyway, Runaway was on one of our locals I believe, Sunday the 8th. Watched for a bit but was involved with other things.

I came in right about the time Selleck was being introduced to his new partner. They rushed off to get on a plane, Selleck didn't seem to be fond of heights, or planes, or something, anyway, they were dropped in a field, Selleck's partner goes off to chase what looked like an old toy I used to play with as a kid - seemed kinda stupid really.

I would like to give it another chance, beginning to end. I usually like oddball or mostly unpopular movies like Runaway. I think it was 'High Road to China' that was panned and I liked it, as well 'Her Alibi'.

Oh, anyone notice the quick bit from Selleck from 'Bob Hope: Thanks for the Memories'? I'm not sure if Selleck's in it more than once but the first time was about 17 minutes into the paid commercial for the DVD set. Selleck looked like a cross between the Marlboro Man and the lead singer from Duran Duran.
