This information may have been posted or discussed before, but the Higgins family geneology prop included in Episode 3.23 would be a cool thing to decipher... I wonder just how creative those prop guys were? Any idea if these things were stored or destroyed? I'd vote on the latter, but it'd be cool to find it...
Just a cool item that would be interesting trivia on the character.

I posted some pics of John over in the Mannix thread, for anyone who's interested.

Happy Birthday!
If Wikipedia has entered his birth right, then John Hillerman is now 80 years! Congratulations!

You beat me to it! Yes, indeed, the esteemed Mr. Hillerman has reached the venerable age of **80.** How awesome is that? Salud! (raises glass)
I should watch a couple of my favorite Higgins-centric episodes, in celebration.

He's retired. I think he's one of those guys when they retire, they retire for good. Judging from the size of his place, he must have done relatively well for himself and now he's enjoying it. Well deserved if I do say so myself.Estate resident wrote:Hillerman is still alive as far as I know & living in Houston now I beleive. He must be in not so good shape or he would have appeared somewhere by now.

I do know he rented a very modest condo while living on Oahu, especially compared to Manetti's place. He said he was notified MPI was cancelled & he moved out and back to texas a week later. Thats pretty freakin fast movin' IMO.
Bellasarius did one helluva good job picking really high quality like Hillerman & Selleck to fill the Higgins & Magnum roles. Very rare kind of people in Hollyweird.
