The Practical Guide to the Universe is not listed among Tom Selleck's credits on the IMDb. I've never edited IMDb actor credits before, only contributed movie quotes and such but TS is actually on camera and does all the narration for this series and it should be added to his filmography.

Started watching some of this the other day on YouTube. I wonder how much of the science still holds true, with things that have been discovered since it was put together. Would be interesting to have an updated version - so many people remember this and liked it.

In one of the episodes there was an image of Mars that looked like a graphic from the old video game Asteroids, so our images of that planet have improved dramatically!

It's been nearly twenty-five years since the series aired and every time they cut to a scene of Selleck talking to the camera, I think that Magnum, P.I. was already over for five years :shock: yet there was still plenty of time for reunion movies during the '90s. What a shame we never got that.
