Marcia Wallace, who played Barbara Terranova, in one of my favorite episodes, "Beauty Knows No Pain" , has passed at the age of 70! Just a great episode! Magnum in the Ironman, with Bab's as his trainer!

For me, one of the most endearing episodes. Also thought she was a quiet riot in the Newhart show, among other things she did.

Hope her transition was a peaceful one.

I remember her as a regular on game shows. She seemed to appear on Match Game a lot, my favorite game show which I watched after getting home from school.

As a younger Gen Xer, I knew her best as the voice of Bart Simpson's sarcastic and cynical teacher, Edna Krabappal, on the Simpson.
