Ernest Borgnine

#1 Post by SelleckLover »

I tried to find the Ernest Borgnine thread, but got tired of looking....sorry if there's already one and I started a new one. Anyhow...I saw the move Red today, and it was pretty good if you like all the shoot-em-up loud stuff, that I'm not so fond of, but after all, Bruce Willis is in it, ala Die Hard. But what I want to say is that Ernest Borgnine is in this movie and he's excellent ,as usual, and he must be 90 if he's a day and he still looks like he did 25 years ago in Magnum. The guy just doesn't age! Just a heads-up if you like E.B.!

Who doesn't love Ernest Borgnine?
He will turn 94 on January 24th.

I am a huge Borgnine fan....even my kids (7 & 12) have become Borgnine fans...Mr. White Death and Spongebob are to blame!

Has anybody seen the clip of Borgnine on Fox where he reveals the secret of his longevity?

Pretty funny stuff!

HAHA. Finally someone told the truth

I like Ernest Borgnine. He is one of those you would like to have a beer with.
He has been in a ton of movies. But my favourite is "Marty", love that movie.

"Marty" was simply a wonderful little film and a surprise Academy Award for him.

Such a sad day. Mr. Borgnine, Ernie as he would have insisted you call him, has passed away at age 95. He was one of my all-time favorites. He had a long, full life, but his passing still packs a powerful sting. RIP to a great actor, and a great man.

Another one of my favorite actors gone! What a week: First Andy Griffith and now Ernest Borgnine. He just left a big hole in our lives.

For anyone interested in seeing pictures of Ernest Borgnine's home, there are some here. More than 60 years in one home! A nice classy place. Reminds me of a Colombo murderer's home, but that's a comfortable homey feeling for me personally.

Jason Bateman and wife have have bought the home.

Wow. nice pad. Luxurious but comfortable and not overly ostentatious.
