Dos Equis beer commercial
You know, the one with the most interesting man in the world.
I don't think I agree with that, but just read in the paper he played on Magnum PI.
I didn't remember him, so I looked it up.
He only played in one episode, Straight and Narrow,as Flynn.
His name is Jonathan Goldsmith.

Thanks for posting the picture James, he sure has changed since Magnum, but haven't we all. I think the beer commercial is rather annoying. Sometimes annoying gets you noticed, I'm sure if anyone ever saw these commercials they would never forget them.
Ofcourse this is great for Mr. Goldsmith. If they really wanted the most interesting man in the world, they should have just asked TS.
IKWYT,
If you can find the article that would be great, I didn't know he had been mentioned here before. I did read, he also appeared on Hawaii 5-0.

I don't think this is true...IMDB does not list him as deceased, and they're usually pretty accurate--especially if he had passed away as long ago as April.N1095A wrote:Farewell to another MPI guest star. Sadly, Mr Goldsmith passed away from cancer April 24th this year at the age of 72.
I think Steve is right...the report of his death must have been a fake. I remember several years ago a false death report was given about John Hillerman...and people were freaking out that 'Higgins' was dead. Then it was made known that it was someone else and the report was wrong! Long live Higgy Baby!!
In the old photo of Jonathan Goldsmith, I recognize him...he's been in tons of stuff over the years/decades! However, I would have never recognized him as the Dos Equis guy! Man he's changed! LOL! Cool piece of trivia to learn...and I like Dos Equis beer! Although they're kind of silly or a little over-the-top...I actually hope to see more of his commercials.
"It was more ironic than a Robin Masters novel--she thought he was dead, he thought she was dead...and only the chauffeur knew the truth! He should have been the butler!" "Lest We Forget"
