Here's your chance to own one. If not, enjoy the photos. Great shots of the inside as well.

WOW! That's a beautiful car!

My quest for owning one is only in the dream stage right now, but in five years, who knows?

I can just imagine driving down the highway with the top down, the hum of that engine echoing all around me.

Anybody got 30 grand I can borrow?

That's one of the nicer ones I've seen on eBay. Thanks for posting the link!

The car is in great shape. Love the photos. Wish it was mine!

Thanks for posting the link.
Higgins: You've washed the car?! How extraordinary. Why would you do such a thing?

That one looks very nice and has service records. There is an interesting article on eBay regarding buying a used Ferrari. Ultimately. Ferrari cars are like beautiful women, nice to look at and drive but they can be very high maintenance.
It is amazing that the one on eBay 27 years old as it looks brand new.

I see this listing and a scene from Pulp Fiction comes to my mind:

I'm gonna get f****n' divorced. No marriage counselling, no trial separation, I'm gonna get f****n' divorced. I don't WANT to get divorced.

It also reminds me of that situation in Ferris Bueller's Day Off! Different Ferrari, but I think it still applies here.

"It is his love; it is his passion."

If I had this car, though, I wouldn't be scared to drive it. But I think I would rub it with a diaper every so often.

I think it's amazing that it only has 29,000+ miles on it!

That is one sweet ride, and the 308's have been running in the mid to upper $30,000 range for a few years now. The problem is the maintenance on those babies. Back in the eighties there was a Ferrari repair shop directly across the street from an air freight comapny I was managing. I would always walk over there in hopes that I could at least sit in one (never did) but I do recall a mechanic telling me that the engine had to be dropped down just to do a simple tune-up.........It is nice to know that the owners do seem to treat them as collector cars.....

Do you think the mechanics would be mad if I tried to pay with these when taking the 308 in for the 15 and 30K major services?

That was one of the VERY laughable things about MPI; TM getting TC to do a tune up on the 308!
