The Most Annoying Character

#1 Post by lutherhgillis »

Who do you think was the most annoying character on a MPI episode?

Even though Angela Landsbury and her posse were very annoying, I would have to say it is a tie between Lee Pucell who played Goldie Morris in Old Acquaintance and Cassie Yates from Kiss of the Sabre and Photo Play.

Judith Chapman in "The Black Orchid" and in "The Woman On The Beach"........I find her more annoying than even Cassie Yates!

Goldie Morris, Cassie Yates' characters and although I like Annie Potts, I thought her character was kind of annoying.
The answer is obvious, old man. Logic is irrelevant. It's simply Tropical Madness. (J.Q. Higgins)

Any Cassie Yates Character, Marsha MacKenzie in "I Do?", Rod Crisler, Susan Johnson (Sorry James) Babs Terranova, Waldo Norris.

Oh, and Angela Lansbury's entire crew (although she didn't bother me so much)

How about Ms. Jones? She needs a good 'chop of doom' across the head!

Kahunagirl,

I'm with you! I found him fingernails-on-blackboard annoying! Though Cassie Yates came close, but Luther bothered me the most.

I also found Rick's "short" friend, the "CIA agent," annoying, along with Stuart Margolin (Rod Crisler).

And I KNOW I'll get stoned in absentia for this: But I didn't like J.J. "Digger" Doyle or Diane Dupree. The kissing scenes were just too forced. No chemistry.

In honor of our not-so-beloved, but infamous, Ms. Morris and Ms. Faraday, I have created this little "Cassie Yates/Goldie Mashup". They may be the most "annoying" MPI characters ever, but you can't deny that they are also quite amusing!

She's already been mentioned but only once, to my surprise. It just doesn't get more annoying than this:

But that's what made him good. I remember hating the Luther episodes first run, but upon revisiting them on DVD He's grown on me to the point where they're some of my favorites. I never get tired of "Stuff it scrungo".

I think that Luther was one of the best "thorn-in-your-side" characters also. I didn't find him annoying, per se, but he was certainly annoying to the Thomas Magnum character, which made for rather humorous episodes.

The Luther character was there to be a foil for Magnum. Luther is what Magnum feared he would turn into as he got older...

Ms. Jones was annoying, Dana Delany's character was annoying, the entire Murder She Wrote posse was annoying but no one was more annoying than CASSIE YATES !!!!!!!!!

Thanks for making this fun. You guys are clever.
