The "Bearded Lady" painting is a different painting than the Queen Mother painting. And it's not really a beard. It's more like stubble (or maybe even a shadow).

I have no idea what the painting is really called, or who painted it. I even asked around in a couple of art forums, but alas, no luck!

The Queen Mother painting was defaced with a beard, though. In "Autumn Warrior"....

Did a quick check and didn't see if this info was posted in this thread.

I was going to thru an online auction just to pass time last night and seen a painting called "Woman Sitting in a Chair" and for some reason it struck me as familiar. After a while it donned on me.

Turns out it was a copy of "Seated Woman in a Chemise by Picasco

The Picasso seems to be a match and would make sense that Robin had the real thing, not the copy and you can somewhat make out the Picasso signature in the bottom left corner.

Sign me up for a replica "Gauguin" painting as well. Would love to have one for the guest house.

And I, as well. I could always commission an artist or graphic designer to recreate it. The trick is finding the right designer or artist.

The Uncle was over this weekend and as usual we talked about his 2 favorite subjects, Banacek and Magnum, P.I.

One of the Banacek episodes we watched was "The Greatest Collection Of Them All". So I asked about how they got copies of the painting back then. "Back then we(Universal) had artists who would reproduce the paintings and make a copy or 2, and sometimes multiple copies if used in a fight scene, today they go online."

This thread made me give it a try...not perfect, but close. I got somewhere in between the TV painting and the "Gauguin" merged paintings. I might try the bearded lady next. This one is acrylic on 16 x 20 canvas. Not exactly sure how to post a picture, but here is the link: [img][https://imagizer.imageshack.com/img922/3376/hMIdpP.jpg] https://imagizer.imageshack.com/img922/3376/hMIdpP.jpg I

A little off topic, but..........Didn't the ship painting from Steve's office on original Hawaii Five-O appear on MPI at some point? I ask because I'm pretty sure I spotted it hanging over the file cabinet in the courthouse in season 1 of Andy Griffith.

That's cool...I recall it being in Hawaii 5-O but didn't realize Andy Griffith Show too. Very cool.

Here is the picture with the frame...again, the frame is not exact, but you get the idea. I think I am blocked from images for 3 tries due to forum rules...I'll try again to see if it works. Let me know what you all think.
