I just watched the You Tube link.
This jackass is not a hero, he is a drunken buffoon or would be suicide who changed his mind after jumping and then decided on the "if you want to survive" option.
What if one were married to one of the crew that finally found him, only the chopper then crashed into the sea?
The Coast Guard put their lives on the line constantly, as opposed to this guy, who put other peoples lives on the line because he is lacking.
