Wow, an ´84 GTS quattrovalvole!

That could be the exact same car that Magnum and me drove in together on the estate!

This would fit in perfectly into the car park of my palace in Jororo.

Perhaps I should sell some of my Bentleys and Rolls too. They ain´t no fun anyway.

Well, I´ll see... I´ll see...

My wife is actually is Scottsdale this week for a seminar. I wish I could convince her to head over there to get a picture but I already know the answer will be no. I told her last week that Barrett/Jackson was there all week and she might see Jay Leno and other "Car Guys" runnning around but she just looked, shook her head and asked why I wasn't out my male menopause phase yet....

Lot #95...

There's a couple more 308's listed in the auction. One of them is a 76' fiberglass bodied unit, which the estimate for is in the same price range as the documented screen used, Selleck driven unit. There were only 712 fiberglass bodies produced, though there is some who say the number was 818. Not sure which is accurate, but either way, they are rare and usually demand a higher price than the later steel bodied units.

I think, that the fibergkass bodies where always closed roof (GTB vs GTS)

According to this article:

Yes, Bondtoys, you are correct, all the glass bodies were coupes (no targa's i.e., "closed roof" as you put it.

A beautiful body, in my opinion, regardless of material used to produce it, or the roof configuration!
