Let us know how the sizing and quality is when you get it! :magnum:
The small is a perfect fit - and you can't go wrong with a Paradise Found shirt!

Still upcoming, in the day planning stages. One "on the water" day, one "in the jungles" day, a day for Pearl, a day (maybe two) for Magnum related activities and two hikikiʻi days. :magnum:

When are your travel dates? Hopefully, your planning is near it's end, and you'll pack in as many of the Magnum sites as possible.

My wife and I will be at the Marriott Ko'Olina in November, after the tourists are gone, and life returns to relative sanity on Oahu. We too, will be trying to get our vacation planned, and to be honest, I think she puts up with my desire to see as many of the Magnum sites as possible.

Good luck, and safe travel.

I think many of us are looking forward to your trip and observations as much as you and your wife are. One problem with a Hawaii vacation is trying to cram everything in to your specific time frame especially since you lose a day getting there and another getting home. At least you have a wife that is a Magnum fan, I was forced by mine to do the hike up Diamond Head just for perhaps an hour at Tidal Pool...Talk about a Higgins/Magnum negotiation!!!!!

Steve,

Fortunately, my wife is a fan of Magnum, or at least of Ton Selleck. One way or another, she puts up with me, which is an incredible feat! However, I did get the comment of can we go somewhere other than Hawaii? Really??

A question for people who understand tide charts and have been to Robin's Nest . . .

Looking at the table below, is going for the 6:00 AM low tide feasible? It looks like the 6:00 PM low tide will be a lot lower and does that make a difference.

Thanks!

Looks to me like low tide on Monday is at 8:28am and again at 6:53pm............Tuesday is at 8:57 am and at 7:23 pm..........The picture below was taken about 11:00 in the morning about an hour after low tide. The trip up the beach from the parking lot was fine with the water away from the seawall the entire way, the slab was only about 1/3 covered with water and the Estate beach was almost exactly as you saw in most episodes...Can't wait to hear your description as you walk up the beach, see Rabbit Island, the lava rocks from the tidal pool and the slab. By the way, you do have a great wife, about 90 minutes after that picture was taken my wife had me climbing up Diamond Head!!!!(I did act lost and drove by Diamond Head Studios on the way )

Fan-freakin-tastic!!

We'll head out early day one and get there before low tide, hopefully there will be less people around. We may swing by again a second time for a sunset in the tidal pool. Since we are staying at Aulani by Ko Olina we'll shoot across H1 to H3 to . . . Kamehameha Highway to . . . Kalanainaole Highway then it's the Nest baby!!!

Then the pier, the lighthouse, the beach and swing aound the shore road back to the west side. Stop at the Halona Blowhole, then on to the Beach Bar at Wai'alae Beach Park . . . then we may need to whet our whistles at the Kona Brewing company on our way back. :-)

I think I have day one pretty locked up!!

Looking forward to kayaking day two in my KK44 tank top!

We'll be staying at Disney's Aulani right by the Marriott Ko Olina in December it looks beautiful over there!

It's good to have a partner who puts up with our little vices, they could be much worse! I think Mrs. Conch is excited to see my face as I am to be going there.

I am going to be leaning heavily on Rubber Chicken's guide and Google Earth. Every once in a while I test my phone to make sure it works and when the Earth spins, and all those yellow pin drops appear, I get this little grin . . .
