Magnum and pizza ....

#1 Post by ConchRepublican »

Tossing one out there the best group of sleuths on the internets. :magnum:

Can any of you recall episodes where Thomas either ate pizza or commented about pizza? :?:

I'm working on an idea.

Thanks!

From Mad Dogs.

Magnum: Sometimes I think maybe I've spent too long in paradise. I sort of take it for granted, like pizza. I mean, while I find a lot of security in the knowledge that "paradise" and "pizza" are always there, it's too easy to get complacent. Pepperoni or sausage? Perfect sunrise or a perfect rainbow? Why not just have all of the above, today? Now, I can deprive myself of pizza for a week and appreciate it again, but paradise...it's always at my door. And while it can be very pleasant, it can also be very predictable. (Narration)

Don't forget about the guesthouse party scene in "Rembrandt's Girl" with a cockney Jillie Mack.

(Higgins knocks on the door, Sherry opens it)
Sherry: Paradise Pizza?
Higgins: I beg your pardon.
Sherry: Paradise Pizza. We ordered large zombies, with everything but anchovies.
Higgins: Who are you, and what are you doing here??
Rick: Oh, hi, Higgins! I hope we're not disturbing you.
Higgins: Disturbing me? I had an entire weekend of quiet meditation and fasting planned... and just as we begin our moonlight chanting the cacophonous sounds of that hi-fi come blasting across the grounds. I come over here not only to find that not only has Magnum NOT returned with my book, but the two of you have turned Mr. Masters guest quarters into some kind of music rumpus room. Why on earth would that disturb me!
Sherry: You're not from Paradise Pizza.

Edit: Oh wait, you wanted a scene with TM and pizza. Sorry, TM's nowhere to be found, but pizza (and Jillie Mack) is involved!
Higgins: It's not a scratch! It's a bloody gouge!

Wasn't there a scene in "Little Girl Who" where TM is showing Lilly how to fold pizza to make it easier to eat?

Looked on youtube, but didn't see a listing for the episode. Guess I'll have to watch it again to find out, or somebody else who remembers for sure can chime in and refute or verify. :D

What I remember is TM, JQH and Lilly being in the guesthouse, Lilly sitting on the couch or on a chair at the table, (shows how reliable MY memory is! :magnum: ), and TM showing Lilly how to pick up and eat the pizza, in response to her somewhat puzzled look with regard to how to go about it.

I have weird dreams sometimes too.......... :magnum:

Isn't there an episode where Thomas calls a pizza delivery guy over and give him a huge tip so he, Thomas, can use the guy's delivery van or truck?

This could be from Murder 101, I'd have to check it out again . . .

Edit - after further thought, I was thinking of the van that I believe was owned by the surfer dude . . .

Wasn't it "Death and Taxes" where he sneaks off the estate in the pizza delivery guy's hat and van? Plus I think he was eating pizza with the female Mexican agent in "On the Fly". I remember him saying he's a cheese freak.
