Not sure if it's true but I stumbeled over this:

"'Magnum P.I.' Hawaiian mansion up for sale

The Hawaiian house where Tom Selleck's iconic TV series "Magnum P.I." was set has been put on the market for $15 million.

The sprawling Oahu, Hawaii, beachfront mansion served as the setting for Robin's Nest, the fictional estate Selleck's character, Thomas Magnum, called home for all nine seasons of the hit crime drama.

Located on the southeast coast of the island, the private residence covers three acres, and the sprawling main house includes five bedrooms and five baths, as well as a boat house, bath house and tennis courts."

The estate was assesed at only 9 million. Caldwell Bankers admit upfont the home needs major repairs. Robim's book sales must have really decreased.
