Connect Gabe Kaplan to Larry Manetti.

I got this one, Gabe Kaplan was on Battle of the Network Stars with Robert Conrad. Robert Conrad was on Baa Baa Black Sheep with Larry Manetti. :D

How about linking Magnum, PI to another 80s icon - Knight Rider? I have a connection in mind, 3 degrees of separation, without even having to look anything up on IMDB. Can anyone guess it, or even best it?

Nice one Reef monkey!

I'd would have went with Paul Reubens in Pee-Wee's Big Adventure with Cassandra Peterson aka Elvira. Elvira was on The Fall Guy with Lee Majors, Tom Selleck as Thomas Magnum was on The Fall Guy with Lee Majors.

You could also go with Paul Reubens playing Danny Devito's character's (The Penguin) father in Batman Returns, Danny Devito being in Matilda with his ex-wife Rhea Perlman, Rhea Perlman being on Cheers with Ted Danson, Ted Danson doing an episode of Magnum, Three Men and a Baby, and the sequel with Tom Selleck.

My bad it wasn't a crossover, Selleck was playing himself. Colt Seavers aka Lee Majors was in Hawaii and ran into TS and they talked about Colt doing stunts.

I'll see your three degrees and make it three individual degrees:

Anne Lockhart, Lance LeGault and Robin Dearden were on both shows.

Not sure Battle of the Network Stars is valid. It's kinda like saying two actors were at the Emmy Awards in 1984. Still, an interesting connection. Since Conch detonated his boom on the two show connection without suggesting a follow up, I'll hijack and propose connecting Patrick Stewart (Captain Picard) to Patrick Bishop (Keoki).

Patrick Stewart (Captain Picard) to Patrick Bishop (Keoki).
Patrick Stewart was in Star Trek: The Next Generation (Season 7, Episode 12) with Terry O'Quinn
Terry O'Quinn was in Women of Valor that also starred Patrick Bishop!

Try connecting Elijah Wood to Patrice Martinez (Linda Lee Ellison)

Damn! Thought that would be harder! O'Quinn has been pretty prolific, but I just know him as the bald dude from Lost...

Good one, you beat me there. I should have known that in any of those detective-like shows in the 80s, there would be a lot of hard-working TV actors who would have done guest spots on many.

I was thinking that the guy who played Miles on Knight Rider was in Von Ryan's Express with Frank Sinatra, who had just about the best guest starring role on Magnum ever.

Try connecting Elijah Wood to Patrice Martinez (Linda Lee Ellison)
Easy, didn't even have to research it:

Elijah Wood played Kevin Kline's son in The Ice Storm
Kevin Kline played Dreyfuss in The Pink Panther with Steve Martin
Steve Martin was in Three Amigos with Patrice Martinez. (I had the biggest crush on Patrice Martinez after Three Amigos came out and loved that she was on Magnum and ended up being who he ended up with (I think))
