Music Video - Magnum P.I. Tribute

#1 Post by JackCounty »

I am a singer/songwriter and I just shot a music video and we decided to pay an homage to Thomas Magnum. Hope you guys enjoy it. Magnum P.I. is one of my favorite shows. Thanks!

Very cute!

I loved the song, and of course all of the Magnum-ness in the video! :)

Speaking on behalf of (myself) I say bring back the mustache and the shorts where you have to worry about "spillage" when sitting down! Well done, Jack!!!!

Hey guys, thanks for the compliments, I had a great time shooting the video, and yes I do have a website / 2 albums for sale....

I am not sure if I can post the link to my website on here (I want to obey the rules:) ), so if a mod can let me know if that is ok, then I will post it. The name of my band is called Jack County...

The song that I made the video for is #54 on the Texas charts, its called Spinning Wheels.

Wow, that was pretty good (both song and video)! Thanks for sharing.

That's one hell of a moustache, btw!

Hello Jack County! Love the Magnum tribute in your video! Catchy song there, too. Nicely done!

You ever play the Magnum theme song? A country-rock version would be super cool. I see you guys are hitting the road this spring. You should add some songs from the great George Lee Jessup in your set! Maybe some "Last Word Woman" or "I Just Want To Hold You". ;)

very nice video and I support the idea of a country-cover version of the MPI tune.
And the girl from the beginning is well chosen ;) too

Well, we all know that Magnum had exquisite taste in women...I was merely trying my best to pay homage to that! Ha!

We tried to recreate as many of the opening scenes as possible, and a 308 Ferrari was hard to get, so we settled for the Z28 Camaro. If you guys have any other ideas, I think this video needs to get continued with another one!
