So how did you do the Higgins hair, with a small file? Amazing. How long did it take you?
LOL, yes! I have a set of small files that I used to use for woodcarving in a previous life, when I was in the Society for Creative Anachronism. It didn't take that long, and then I used steel wool to make sure the surface looked the same over the whole hairpiece (matte). Good deduction!

Well, I am a bit of a freak for stuff like that myself... so I thought, if I did something like this, that is how I would go about it...

Anyway, you have done a really fantastic job on that!
I am sooo impressed!

For the record, this is the coolest physical Magnum P.I. project I've seen. Now that my son has seen it he wants me to buy it...I tried to explain, but he insists that we can find it at a toy store.

Love, love, love it!

Thank you so much! I showed your comment to my son this morning and he was just elated--made his day. :D He was all "now we have to make *another* set of them!"...although even if we tried, I probably wouldn't be able to remember where we got what...
