Way to go steveadl Nice Job

Well This is the last Question for this Month and for Operation: Silent Night

When did Operation: Silent Night air Month 10pts/Day 10pts / Year 10pts

Who said the last line (10pts) What was the last Line of
Operation: Silent Night ?(10 pts)

So someone might be able to seal up the title or someone might be able take the lead Good Luck all
Hmmm

Challenging and going out on a limb here....

When did Operation: Silent Night air? December 7th, 1983

Who said the last line (10pts) Higgins

What was the last Line of Operation: Silent Night ?(10 pts)

"And Goodwill to all/man"????

I know they were all singing Silent Night at the end... but I recall Higgins saying something very Tiny Tim-ish... may not be the very final thing.... and MAGNUM may have actually said it.

Rationale for answers..... December 7th.. Pearl Harbor Day... seems a leap of faith here.. and makes sense given the locale

1983, simply because this was a season 4 episode and was midway through.... Season 5 started in 1984/85 so assuming this was running during the Holidays.... 1983 seems a good guess.

Final quote.. see above.

Now to track down the ACTUAL answer... but count this as my contribution. Merry new year all! JJ Dubs.... whens the actual anniversary of the site?

We need to have some sort of "all online shindig" or something!!!!

The right answer is December 15, 1983

the last line was all of them singing silent night

There was alot of close answers here Doc you were so close on everything with you saying singing silent night but I hope I didn't read this wrong but I beleive your final answer was And Goodwill to all/man so I took that as your answer
So the final scores for the month of Dec are
steveadl:60 pts
Doc Ibold (Defending Champion): 30 pts
Tom_Magnum:30 pts
Pahonu : 10 pts

The 3rd winner and The month of December CHAMPION with 60pts
********steveadl *********

ok the first question for Jan. and the new year is

Johnathan Quayle Higgins, Robin Masters' 'major-domo' at the Hawaiian estate, was also ex-military. What was his Regiment? worth 10 pts

From the pilot episode:

Magnum: "To territorial perogatives"
Higgins: "The first drinks always to the regiment."
Magnum: "To the regiment"
Higgins: "The Prince of Wales Own West Yorkshire Regiment"

Any extra credit for this?

Damn, I'm embarrassed I don't know this one considering Higgins mentions it every 3rd episode!! :D

I'll have to make up for it with next weeks question! By the way Mavrick, really loving this game - keep it up! Really forces you to think hard!

Pahonu you hit that one out of the park !!! very well played 15 pts

Ok the next question comes from Season Two
While working on a bomb in "Dead Man's Channel", which occupation did Magnum tell the viewers he wished he had gone into? I am sorry I had to ask this question because every time I hear it I laugh :D :D worth 10 pts

Oh man, it's on the tip of my tongue but I can't quite get it out...!

If we don't get a multiple choice option (yes please!), I'll have to go with either cowboy or professional baseball player. But I don't think either of these are correct. I'm pretty sure he just talks about an ordinary job.

Damn these are hard Mavrick, but I like it!

I'm going to need multiple choice too. I remember the scene well and it seems to me it was a rather staid and (sorry) dull profession like insurance sales or something.

It is a really fun game Mavrick, and I realize how well I know some episodes and how little I know others.

Jeff played Mac, Jim Bonnick, and Ski (from the first episode)

Of course he also played Father Jim, Neville Thompson, Lt Briggs, Commander Broderick and Lt Joe Travis!
