Hard to say if it's the real McCoy or not but for 25-large I'd expect the ring to be much higher quality than that. But, heck, who knows.

Take the money you;d spend on the ring and you are close to the Ferrari. No way I'd spend that on a team ring, even if it was TS's.

Mr. Manetti has always been very good about responding to e-mails. I am sure if someone was interested they could contact him and he would be glad to verify it's authenticity........

I think this is a con.

(Sorry Kimbosan).

From what I heard.... Larry Mannetti gave away his first team ring, and it was replaced by the studio.

I can't see why he would sell his second one, given the fact that he makes sure that he wears in it almost every appearance and seems to treasure it.

For $25 grand, I would expect Manetti to cook pasta for me ...

Luther, out!

When you get done blowing 25 grand on the ring you might as well pick up the $2,000 action figure and the $300 crew jacket! Crazy!

No chance on the ring or action figure, but the jacket for 300 bucks doesn't sound that outrageous to me. Looks pretty cool and it's not so expensive that you wouldn't want to wear it.

Yeah, in comparison the jacket isnt too outrageous. But I can find better uses for $300! Actually there was a second crew jacket (real similar) which just sold for $300, so I guess there is someone else who thought it was worth it.

I just bought the jacket, I think it looks really cool! Plus it's rare (anyone have an idea how many TS handed out?), a bit more of a unique collectors item.

Nice one Steve. I would have liked to pick it up myself.

Very cool piece of MPI history!

Guess nobody wanted to pay $25,000 for a ring. The bidding ended with 0 bids.

Yeah, they were dreaming with that price...especially in this economy!

Congrats on a good buy, Steve.
That was a good price, especially considering the excellent condition the jacket appears to be in.
