Family Guy

Tom has a cameo appearance in the upcoming FAMILY GUY Star Wars Spoof - Something, Something, Something Dark Side. It's a live action cameo that is one of the funniest parts of the show.

Pretty funny. I can't wait to watch the rest of it. Sellleck should have been given a bigger role, considering his buddy Harrison Ford played Han Solo!
I just don't give a damn!

LOL! :)

"Ben... Ben... Leia... Leia..... Tom Selleck."

Anybody know where the clip of Selleck is from?

I don't know for sure, but I think it's a clip from "Her Alibi".

And this is why I still posit the fact that the writers of Family Guy like Tom Selleck (and by extension, Magnum P.I.).

Classic.

(I would like to know where the clip came from, though. I think the China Doll wink would have been better though... or him waking up from a deep sleep, ala "Flashback". Probably had rights issues though...)

There was also an American Dad episode where the kid divorces his parents and gets a huge settlement. Living alone (after he dumps he teenage friends) he has two Doberman guard dogs - named Chekov and Sulu...
Sometimes I get so lucky, even I don`t believe it.

It almost looks like an episode of MAGNUM, but that's not his bedroom in the guest house!

Interesting, I have a DVD of "Her Alibi", but I've only watched it once. The scene seems so Magnumesque, because he's acting like he has that "little voice". Maybe it's a secret attribute Selleck possesses!

It's been years since I've seen the movie. I don't remember where that scene was in the movie, but I just had a gut feeling it was from there.

If you guys have any of the subscription channels (HBO, etc) one of them, I can't remember which one, has been running Her Alibi recently.

'Her Alibi' is a silly film, not too shabby though. I prefer "An Innocent Man" and "Runaway" as my favorite Selleck films.

Seconded.

Although I think "Quigley" is right up there, as well as "3 Men".
