Hi Mike...There must be more than one camo hat.The ebay hat doesn't match the hat worn in "Under World."

You're right Sam, I'm trying to remember the other episodes, but all I can think of right now is "One More Summer" and "All For One". I also remember TC wore the SEAL cap once. It's highly likely they had several copies of each cap. I know there was more than one Al's cap, because sometimes the patch was crooked, other times it wasn't. The away Tigers cap looks exactly like the one from "Squeeze Play" It differs from other away caps in that it has a white border around the "D". Anyway, I'm positive this is legit.

The ebay listing mentions "The Look" as another episode.

Here's the one from "The Look":

It looks the same as the one from "Under World" that Sam posted, but isn't the same as the one posted from "One More Summer", or the ebay one.

edit - whoops, I missed the last post, hope you see this before spending your time...

I just saw one in the screencaps pages. TC wears one in Texas Lightning, 2.18. It appears to be different from the rest. I've made a little collage I can post when we think we have most of the appearances of the hat. So far there's four different types, none of which is the ebay one.

I had a post all ready when I saw your new find. I think you're right, and what's more, it's also the same design on the hat from 2.17, One More Summer (oops, didn't see your edit saying this). The mushie-ness of the ebay hat does make it hard to recognize. What follows is my edited post and collage...

Found another from Forty Years From Sand Island, 3.18:

I made a crude collage showing the different versions, a total of four so far. From what we know right now, there's two unique versions seen in one episode each, one version seen in two episodes (what looks like the ebay hat), and one version seen in four different episodes. But it's likely this list doesn't include every time the camo type hat was seen. Yes, I do have time on my hands right now...

No problem, I also sometimes edit my posts soon after posting. :) It's interesting to find out how many camo hats there were (if not more). I wonder if there's more versions that we haven't found.

Wow, that's awesome.

I play softball, and one day I hope to make a trip to the islands. I'm looking at one of those Detroit Tigers Caps. Would be nice to have one of the props with me....

It's been confirmed on that blog as you guys said, so perhaps i'll consider one of those....

You guys are AMAZING!! They all look like the same hat to me!!

Well, no...thanks to the collages I'm able to compare camouflage patterns and they are different.

I hope somebody keeps us posted about what the hat on Ebay sells for...hopefully the one of you who gets it!!

Interesting!
