For all non-episode specific topics about the show, including MPI-related "tie-ins"

... our old friend Cassie Yates!

The episode featured Pat Hingle as a grandfather with a mysterious past. I felt like I was watching a Magnum episode!
Which reminds me, have you ever seen the final first season 'Airwolf' episode 'To Snare A Wolf' - That's like watching an episode of MPI!

It's like they had a bus trip from the MPI set to the Airwolf set - it features Kathleen Lloyd, Lance LeGault and Jeff MacKay!
LeGault and MacKay also appear, as different characters, in the next episode, the season two opener 'Sweet Britches', which also introduces Jean Bruce Scott as a regular. (I think, with studio execs pushing for a female regular, Kathleen Lloyd was being set up in this role in 'To Snare A Wolf', but for whatever reason didn't continue in the series).

Hey, this is a cool thread. I guess there are a bunch of great topics that are buried.

My vote goes for the bratty tennis star played by Kim Richards in Mixed Doubles. Sure, she's SUPPOSED to be annoying, but I think it's a bit too convincing!

Yes there are a number of annoying characters. Maybe that is why we term them "characters." However, I cast my vote for Luther. How TM ever put up with him I'll never understand.

After aforementioned 'This Island Isn't Big Enough...', 'Mixed Doubles' is one of my least favourite episodes. Dull story, and bratty character!

Ahh . . . but back in the day I was so happy to at least see Kim Richards anywhere!

My childhood "Escape from Witch Mountain" crush . . . the Hello Larry failure . . . then Tuff Turf.

Then it was over.

Oh where Kim Richards, thee of the Demi Moore smokey voice , before there was a Demi, have thou gone??? :)

LMAO!! Conch!

She apparently had a small part in the Witch Mountain reboot - Race to Witch Mountain (2009).

I'll always remember her from that ABC Afterschool Special she was in, the one about bullying. Oh, and the Diff'rent Strokes episodes!

Speaking of Cassie Yates, she appeared in two episodes of "Vega$". Just a guess on my part but this is how they decided to use her in her second appearance.

Every single extra that had a mullet hairstyle on the show. Gross! I want to steal doc's DeLaurean timemachine, go back to 80's and shave all their heads!!!! At least Magnum had a decent haircut!
I just don't give a damn!

Oh, even Magnum sported a mullet every now and again. It wasn't MacGuyver awesome, but it worked.
