Any input??
Hey Higgybaby,

I want to say this may be either season 5 or EARLY season 6, as post "Going Home", TM references Tidewater a bit, and never really did before that.

Im cycling through episodes right now but im pretty sure it directly contradicts no matter where it appeared unless im forgetting a storyline that places him out of tidewater then later back in.

Plugging "Tidewater" into the MM search engine reveals that the "leaving Tidewater when he was young" quote comes from Season Four's "The Look".

Hi all. I got the Magnum PI DVDs for Christmas, and haven't stopped playing them since then! I forgot how much I loved this show. It has been real fun rediscovering all the episodes again.

I didn't see this mentioned, sorry if it has! During Memories Are Forever in season 2, Rick makes a toast to Thomas and Michelle's wedding. He said, he and TC are the last bachelors left in Vietnam. But in Paradise Blues there is mention that TC was a married man while he was in Vietnam, also in Missing Melody. That is if you assume he was married during his entire tour in Vietnam, which I don't think there is a conclusion to?

Anyway, great forum! :D

Nice flub spot MaggiePoole, and welcome to the site. :)
The answer is obvious, old man. Logic is irrelevant. It's simply Tropical Madness. (J.Q. Higgins)

not really a flub, but...

Since James is cool, with discussion of fun things we've noticed even though they might not really be a flub.. I am always looking for stuff that changes on the stage set, mostly the guesthouse.
In the pilot, there was a light fixture above the kitchen table that never appears again.
Also, and I have NO idea which episode it is, but Magnum and Higgins are sitting at the table talking and you can see the kitchenette behind Magnum. The paper towel roll is empty and there is a cloth dishtowel draped over the cardboard. How typically male! LOL

"Murder 101"

Noticed when TM is receiving first-aid, they are applying antiseptic swab
on wrong side of mouth.
I guess they could'nt obstruct the view of TM's face. :)
Also, I think they used 2 vans, after they lose a hubcap, in the next
scene it looks like its back.
The carpet or fur, whatever it was, is on the dash of the van in some scenes and not there in others.
The crack in the van windsheild looks like a crack and then it looks like
it was made with a white marker.
Somebody check this out.

Also on Ghost Writer, near the end when the bad guys are following magnum and company and entering the room where the real Harold Farber is frozen, the writing on the door is backwards, they flipped the film! :)

Just finished watching Underworld.
Has anyone ever noticed the McDonalds across from the hospital??
Anyway, Higgins really did a good job of removing his IV,when he
is in the hospital and wakes from his nap. He just pulled off the tape,
and wow, no blood or mark on his hand afterward.
Not a flub but I thought interesting.
Is this a flub, guys?
After Gerald and Magnum fight underwater, Gerald is shown right below
the water without his orange vest he had on earlier and no air tank.
Then when he pops out of the water he has the tank on and then it's gone
again.
I watched this a couple of times, thought it was amusing.
 sophia

Thanks, James! Someday I am going to have to conquer those screen shots!! :)

Two questions for anyone who may know:
In what episode during the opening credits does a hot rod pass Magnum as he is driving down a city street?
In what episode does Magnum question a man who is at his shop working on custom painting for autos and there is a hot rod sitting in the background?

The second one is "Old Acquaintance".

this man's custom body and paint shop.
I remember the nice cars.
