Any new updates on the estate's current condition? Four yrs later & I still am very much concerned about the estate condition.

We were there a few weeks ago and spent a few hours swimming in the tidal pool.
The estate looks to be in much the same state of slow decline as it has been for years. I didn't see any signs of improvement.
A lot of garbage has collected in front of the boat shed and the garden looks to be severely overgrown- that blue tarp over the balcony is still there.

It's not looking great.

I mean this is probably the best example of something diametrically opposite the truth.

Haoles coming to Hawai'i at first influx of foreigners, originally were the ones that introduced the bizarre, foreign concept of ownership of land.

In these modern times, too many "natives" own too little of the lands here.
Anyone can own land in Hawai'i. Depends entirely on how much kala you have at the moment Bishop estate or Kamehameha Schools or whoever, decides to offer it to you the brief and rare moment they think they want to part with it.

IMO & probably most here $8mill is not that much to own a piece of history which is truly one of a kind. Then again I wonder if Ms Anderson would be willing to sell Robin's Nest at any price. The thought of owning the estate is mind boggling to say the least.

To get back on track - I don't think Eve cares anymore. The expense to restore the property to "Robin's Nest" condition would not be that much in comparison to what its market value. A ballpark estimate of $200K I'm betting would make it damn near its 1982 condition. Maybe all she needs is polite, respectful registered letter from a certain internet discussion board expressing its concern for a significant piece of television & American culture history.
