I like this, but i think a brighter picture overall would work better. The original shot was excellent!Braddah Kimo wrote:

Cool how the gold gradient emulates the sunrise effect...
I like it sans question mark. More aligned with the mood and tone of the scene whence it came.
and no quote marks makes it more of a theme. artlike... rather than perfunctory copy thrown onto a b.g.

Might be a bit off-topic, but ...
WHERE DOES the sun rise, actually?
I know, it usually rises in the west, but is this left or right of Rabbit Island, seen from the tidal pool beach?
Or does it travel in the course of the year? Or does it depend on where exactly on the beach you are (but in comparison to the space you have to shift on the tidal pool section of the beach, the island should not be that small to actually allow for this relatively wide range in sunrise points to make it appear fully right or left of the sunrise - or is it?)
The thought just struck me when looking at these pictures ...

As a graphics professional for decades... (kinda sorta) I am by now, cognizant of my limitations, (colorblindness for one) and will always defer to the Printer's wisdom! mahalos!ConchRepublican wrote:
Not me, I don't have those skillz. You've been doing a great job!
Just providing a little input from someone in the printing industry.
