Puma Sneakers

I'm up to season 5 right now and throughout the earlier seasons TM does on occasion wear the once great Puma sneakers. I actually owned a pair (white leather with blue Puma stripe) very simlair to his when I was 17 or 18, this would have been around the time of season 2, (now I'm giving my age away).

Anyway, not to rattle on like Higgins but I'd love to buy another pair of decent leather Puma shoes such as these again. These days, the new shoes are plastic and made in China.

eBay perhaps...?

You can go that route, or you can try the link James has in Magnum Gear and see what they look like. I know that most of the Puma's I see around here seem to be made of suede.

Good luck, 308. I have also looked for the Puma shoes like TM wore and cannot find them. Back in the 80s, my friends and I wore the Puma running shoes, tennis shoes, and the turf style shoes with the nubbie bottoms. We also wore the tabbed collar shirts like TM wore in some episodes. Those were the days...

I bought a pair of Puma's Whirlwinds, It was the closest I could find to T.M.'s Puma's. I added white laces and they are some nice sneakers.

I have also looked in vain for Easy Riders in the white/blue colors. If the soles of your Whirlwinds were black, they would be near perfect. Close enough, though for me to order a pair. Thanks for posting.

puma has brought back the easy rider and they have the white and blue colorway...they're still a little different from tm's but we're getting closer:

Already reduced in price, they currently lowered the price with another 20% off.

They are 95% arrurate, just the blue-white padding thing is not screen accurate. But it's by far the best replica for the MPI sneakers!

I don't have a screencap but MPIs sneakers had a padding that looked like that:

The easy rider 78 are 100% accurate besides of the padding on the heel
