Amazon's selling season three once again, though they have a reminder that the set is a double-sided DVD and that customers should flip the discs over to find that "missing" episode!

Those are the same customers that need to read the directions that state "take the food out of the box before placing it in the oven."

Unfortunately common sense seems to have evaded the capture of some people.

You mean I have to remove the DVD from the case before I play it? :o
That would explain a lot!

They should be if they make their coffee unnecessarily hot (like scalding hot) and they knew it was causing serious injuries, yet did nothing to change it! Most people think the "McDonald's Coffee Lawsuit" (Liebeck v. McDonald's Restaurants) was an extreme example of a frivolous lawsuit, but, in fact, it was not.

I remember drinking their coffee before they lowered the temperature. It was way, way too hot.

Anyway, back to the thread....

I'm pleased to report that here in Old Europe we just don't have this problem as all of our MPI DVD's are single sided!

I stand corrected, James. I guess I'm one of those people who thought it was a frivolous law suit. And I don't even drink coffee, so what do I know?

No worries Agatha. The case was never accurately portrayed in the press. Some people like to spread the word on Lemmings (they don't commit "suicide" by jumping off a cliff). Some people like to spread the word about our brains (we use more than 10% of it). I like to spread the word the "McDonald's Coffee Lawsuit". ;)

I think it's good for a person to have a line in the sand, James. And I appreciate knowing the truth. Even though this truth reminds me AGAIN about how distressed I am about our news industry.

Sigh.
