Hi Guys!!!
since i got into watches' bug and being interested in rolex gmt, any pepsi bezel reminds me of Home from the sea...(with this really funny shark shape swimming around TS)

By the by -as Higgins would say- i never saw any tv serie with so many errors like mic you can see up in the screen or reflect of sound engineer on a mirror and so...but that would be horrible in any other show in Magnum, p.i. i just don't care, this show is just a state of mind, the coolest one.
more generally anytime i have to put any bad situation into perspective i remember Magnum's way of life, his sense of friendship.

It just happened again tonight. Every time we get Chinese, my wife gets this beef on a stick stuff. I'm always reminded of Mac and Buck's conversation when Mac bought the stuff in "Little Saigon".
Buck: I wouldn't touch it in 'nam, and I'm not going to now.
Mac: I don't know why, it's delicious.
Buck: Over there it was mostly dog,,, or cat. I'm sure it's different here.

My wife just got a little Budgie that she named T.C.

It would be cool if James J. Walters brought back the blog topic "Who should have guest starred on Magnum?". I really liked that topic.
I just don't give a damn!

I was watching the Will Smith movie "The Pursuit of Happyness" when the third scene in, showed a man parking a red Ferrari GTS in front of the Dean Whittier building in San Francisco. Will Smith said to the man "Hey man, how do you get one of those?" and the businessman replied: "Be a stockbroker" (or a P.I. mooching off a billionaire!) 8)
I just don't give a damn!

I was at the grocery store and saw a seasoning sauce brand called 'Koops". That reminded me of Coops beer...

Also, I just opened an old wooden cigar box on top my dresser and found a $2 bill ! That also reminded me of MPI.

I've got one for you luther.

It's strawberry season in Washington State and I've been spending my weekends selling berries out of a strawberry stand. The first weekend a man drove up and my friend...who has worked at the stand before...said "Oh. Here comes the $2 man." Sure enough. He bought a "snack basket" and paid with a $2 bill.

Last weekend he showed up again. This time he bought a half-flat. $10. And paid with five $2 bills! He ONLY spends $2 bills! Isn't that the wildest thing you've ever heard? Well, maybe not THE wildest. But I'm hoping to get better acquainted over the summer so I can find an opportunity to ask him...WHY?

:)
Isn't the ocean beautiful at sunset? So soft....so peaceful...so romantic!

Thats just WEIRD. This may sound stupid or overly paranoid, but what if they're counterfeit or something?

True, but why would anyone counterfeit a $2 bill? If you're going to go to the trouble of counterfeiting I would think you'd do $20's, $50's and a crapload of $100's.

Someone once gave me this advise. When you go to a strip club, always use $2 bills. In the dark they are easily mistaken for $20s, and even when the stripper realizes they're only $2s, she's thinking "hey, this guy is different".

Agreed, but maybe since they're so rare, its not like someone is looking at "Oh, look at this wad of $2 bills someone is giving me". If someone is walking around with all $20s in their pockets, you've gotta know something is a little shady.

Or maybe the guy got a bunch of $2 bills from the mint cauze he's a whackadoo.

I can see the counterfeit angle but why $2 bills? Why not 5s or 10s? I agree that most of us do not see 2s that often and we would not realize they are fake until its too late...

Maybe Herbie Rembrandt Norton is working the northern left coast...

HA!

Go to the bank, Steve. Last I checked, you can still get them just by asking the teller.
