Hi and daily Magnum reviews

#1 Post by Jay-Firestorm »

Hi folks,
Just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm a massive 'Magnum' fan and recently discovered this excellent site.

As UK fans might remember, the show was rerun in the mornings 2002-3 on Channel 5. I was the editor for the show on TVTome.com (now TV.com) and created the episode guide as each episode was shown, tracking down character names, adding plot synopsis, bloopers, etc.

Anyway, I'm just getting around to rewatching the series on DVD, as there are some episodes I haven't seen since those 02-03 broadcasts, and many of them were cut for content (and two skipped completly).

I'll be adding my review and comments each day (or so) as I watch each episode. Comments welcome =)

Oh, and I just ordered a Cross of Lorraine ring off of ebay? Does that make me a geek? Probably!!

Thanks for all the welcome, this is a really friendly forum :)

No episode review today - I think I'll do them weekdays, as I normally watch a movie or whatever at the weekend. Tomorrow - 'Skin Deep'.

Dude, nice work on your A-Team site! Very nicely done! Keep up the good work on the episode guide. Man, I thought we had a lot of bloopers documented here at The Mania, but you've got like over 100 detailed for just Season One!

I noticed you are planning on adding some games to the site. What kind of games, if you don't mind me asking?

And when can we expect some Marta Dubois screen caps from "The Bend In The River"? ;)

My A-Team site is only in it's very early stages at the moment, I haven't really had much time to review it (says me who is watching & reviewing Magnum each day!! ), but hopefully it'll grow into something to be proud of.

The games I'm thinking of are maybe a quiz, a couple of picture puzzles, and whatever else I can come up with - it's just an experiement at the moment.

And yes, I'll cover 'The Bend In The River' at some point, so there will be some good Marta pics! :D
