Also, when TM was at the lawyers office and peeked thru the broken glass, he said "I'll be back!" Was this an homage to the Terminator movie? I wouldn't think so as "The Terminator" wouldn't open until a month after this episode aired. Look like another case of "Magnum" being ahead of the curve. :l...

It's funny that several of you here call this a dullish episode. I find it to be one of the more interesting ones of the season. I love the "origin" aspect to it  and Mosley overall did a great job with the direction. At first I thought there was a flub concerning the timeline: Sandy is 4 and a...

Ugggh. Not one of my favorites. Probably because I'm not a fan of Carol, so a "-centric" episode of hers does not have much promise for me to begin with. I kept wondering how an episode of Thomas actually being able to appear for the '67 Navy reunion would be instead of this (to quote TM) "lame" one...

There's a nifty clever bit in this compelling episode which I don't think has yet been noted here: The song that is playing right before Magnum recognizes Holly's dedication from a day or two ago (and thus clues him in that she is not there live) is..."She's Not There"!

This is one of my favorites of Season 3. It really has the flavor of a traditional "private eye" (sorry, TM, but that's what the genre is called!) tale. Lots of fun, and I laughed out loud at the Sesame Street "Bert" puppet in Marcus' apartment at around the 9:15 point. (Sorry, my computer isn't pla...

A definite 10 from me! Higgins and Magnum quarantined together, Pac-Man, the stone-cold gorgeous Lynne Moody, the ever-snide Ian McShane, a brisk pace, great character interactions, a stunning denoument and a cute tag scene. Classic! :) The notes for this episode say that Doc Ibold contracted the fe...

This is interesting. Is this screen grab from a televised version? The mic-in-shot is nowhere to be found during this scene on the DVD. Was it digitally erased?

No Elton John, U2 or Pet Shop Boys? Maybe I ought to make my own list! :D

Really cool nostalgia blast looking at these old picture sleeves.

Far too many lovely women appeared throughout the years on "Magnum" for me to narrow down a workable list! But certainly Elissa Dulce remains a huge favorite of mine.

Here she is from the original "Hawaii 5-O" series:

Great avatar of a young John Hillerman, Higgy-baby !! I hear that he was a regular on the Ellery Queen series with Jim Hutton but haven't figured out how to watch the episodes. My guess is that the series happened when Mr Hillerman was about the age that he is in your avatar. Very dapper!! :) Thank...

I'm confused about one thing. Maybe someone could clear it up for me. When Magnum and Rick find the body of Dr. Kessler with his throat slashed, Rick suggests that the Mossad agents did it. But it's not until a minute or so later that Magnum realizes that Lena and Saul are the real Nazis and that un...

How about Lola Stenhauser, guys? (Squeeze Play) Not Hawaiian...not on the baseball field...or when she opens her mouth...but when Thomas talked to her at the Club while she was working she's pretty attractive. :) Done! :) http://img22.imageshack.us/img22/9249/squeeze1.jpg http://img22.imageshack.us...
