Re: Tom with long hair
In the pick with his wife, he's got a cast on his arm/hand. What was that from? Also, didn't Mr. Baseball come out around 1993? He's got very short hair in that one. IMDb says Mr. Baseball premiered on October 2, 1992 but filming probably ended weeks or months before that. No idea what the cast was...

Re: Ratings up 32 % in time slot
Here we go again with the Negative vibes . Spin where is the spin ? As far as I can tell it is accurate when written . Numbers were good enough to renew . The spin is that the +45% was used to write an entire article the day after... Ignores the -40% that occurred the very next week. My view is it ...

Re: The Code
Finally watched episode 2. It wasn't awful, but this show sure does have a bland look to it. The lighting is really bright and dark lighting is something that usually irritates me, but this show seems super BRIGHT . I'm also laughing at the checkmarks in "diversity" casting. Talking about diversity...

Re: The Welcome Wagon
Hi everybody! I am from Hungary, Budapest (but I don't have birds). The Magnum p. i. series arrived here at the second half of th 90's, when I went to high school. Now, I am 40. One of the tv-channel started the show already, and I became a fan like I was at my teenage years. Magnum p. i. is someho...

Re: THE ROOKIE
Haven't seen the finale yet (will watch tonight), but based on last week's episode it looks like they are setting it up such that a couple of the core characters (including my favorite - Talia Bishop) are going to be gone next season. I sure hope they don't get rid of Talia -- she is hands down the...

Re: Ratings up 32 % in time slot
LOL Article dated week after Super Bowl. I think they’re including the Super Bowl bounce when people just left their TVs on. https://beta-static.photobucket.com/images/d129/Bunge2/0/3517b3a5-199e-4264-98f7-cbd10240f3a6-original.jpg?width=1920&height=1080&fit=bounds The Super Bowl was February 3, 20...

Re: THE ROOKIE
My wife and I agreed that this was clearly the best new show of the season...at least on network TV since we don't stream.

Re: The Code
A little bit better this week. I wonder if they are going to be taking a transport to the Mideast for every show?! It was another unique set of facts in the case. I like that. It looked like they were going to make the show a serial type show when they opened with "previously on the Code" but I didn...

Re: Quality of episodes over the seasons
I am currently in Season 4, and find most (though not all) of the episodes boring. Is it just me, and do things improve? If not, how did the series last 8 seasons? Furthermore, we don't see that Magnum is actually a detective. He has no office, no business number, no secretary, and in many episodes...

Re: 30 for 30
GREAT SHOW!!! There was a recent new one about Bobby Knight and how Indiana U. pretty much let him get away with all his antics just for the sake of winning. They even had some newly discovered film of Knight choking a player. Things like that really burn me. Locally my Alma Mater just dedicated the...

Re: The Lads
Didn't Erin Gray as J. Digger Doyle state that the dogs were supposed to render their prey impotent. I think TC showed a frightful look and mouthed the word "impotent." In any event I would not want two Dobermans chasing me. I wouldn't assume they were chasing me just for the fun of chasing.

Re: What is your Favorite episode of season 1
Not only am I having trouble picking a favorite I am having trouble remembering the plots of each show. To me they all ran together with the same type of scenes and action. Blood in the Water is the most memorable. The original series was different in that the plots changed dramatically. Going from ...

https://youtu.be/Pnmmkn4gGdo KingKC you might enjoy this . Thanks but I am still confused because the pool table was in "Robin Masters' home" according to Kumu's explanation. She did not specify the set to be the guest house. In any event the sets come off as too modern and "sterile" to me and lose...
