Re: Texas Lightning (2.18)
Sky's out Thighs out that's why haha tuxedo and suit pants are just leg prisons, walking around all over that mtn side would have been chafe city in those scratchy polyester bonds. Plus he caught fish, presumably speared them probably wading in the water or swimming. AND I mean its magnum, when did ...

Is anyone else wondering about what sidearm New MiniMag will carry? Side note it is interesting that in Hawaii, in order for a private investigator to carry a firearm he has to have written permission from the Police Chief on him at all times.

Re: Never Again ... Never Again (1.7)
The topic in question was "Is it right?"(for Israel to covertly extradite) not why they did it or how many times or in how many countries. Some said yes it was, others said no it was not, but we all agreed Israel did it and probably still does.

Re: Surprised
The "safe with me" vibe is there (he's a SEAL!), but he sometimes loses the upper hand, and his vulnerabilities are as important as his strengths. I haven't actually seen Jay Hernandez in anything, so I can't say what sort of Magnum he'll be, but I actually don't want him to to be too close to Sell...

Hey now, Bruce Lee was 5' 7", Manny Pacquiao 5' 5''! Short guys can kick ass, too! :) But your point is well taken. It is weird having a short guy play Magnum. haha both valid points and yes they can definitely kick ass I mean Connor McGregor is 5'9" 154 and I wouldn't want to mess with that ( I'm ...

Re: Surprised
I've been surprised that so many people are bothered about Jay Hernandez's height. In some cases the complaints come off as good-natured ribbing, but sometimes they seems petty. He's not as tall as Tom Selleck, but does it matter? Do you really want the reboot to try to mimic the original down to e...

He was used more as a gopher by Robin than anything, even sent him to L.A. to serve a lawsuit process. Rescued Katrina in Italian Ice. Drove him around scouting locations for the Treasure hunt. Most important though I think Robin used him as inspiration for his writing (Higgins writing :higgins: )haha

Re: Possibility of a Magnum PI Open world game?
I would play the hell out of that game lol. As far as Voice acting I'm betting you could pull 99% of the character dialogue from the series DVDs. It would be awesome to run down a lead in the Ferrari then hop on the SurfSki and race J. Digger around the ocean.

If I'm eating red meat the best wine on the cheap is a Cabernet Sauvignon by Carnivor and if you like a whiskey note in your wine Robert Mondavi has a Bourbon Barrel-Aged CabSav that is delicious, and on the Zin side 1000 Stories has an excellent wine. Seems like a lot of wineries are getting in to...

Re: Memories Are Forever (1) (2.5)
Magnums Vietnam service particulars are somewhat convoluted but not really a flub. He was never said to be on a SEAL Team, only SEAL qualified. He was assigned to VMO-2 in Da Nang which apparently was a Fixed wing only after 1969. They split the squadron and were only flying OV-10 Broncos. But the s...

Re: Dead Man's Channel (2.2)
There was a question earlier on whether it was a flub that the boat seen in the opening is clearly a different boat from the one that is ransacked later. I don't think it's a flub, Marion's father clearly had two boats. One was a larger vessel that he lived in, the other one was for trips where a s...

Re: Surprised
I honestly think my biggest quarrel with the reboot is the casting of Magnum and Higgins! Why couldn't they find a more masculine, TALLER guy to play TM and cast Higgybaby as a Dos Equis most interesting man in the world type guy. I almost vomit at the thought of new Magnum having to get on his tipp...

I was under the impression a panel of selected viewers will watch it first and if it is well received then be aired on television.

Re: CBS orders Magnum PI pilot!
The more they try to make this like the original, the more disturbed I am because I hate cheap knockoffs. If they would have just used the character names and location but made an entirely new show I would be a much happier camper. I feel like Lenkov really thinks he is going to make a better more ...
