Although I must say watching what happened to Mac really shocked me as well. This really is the high water mark of the show, not that the rest of the show is much below it as a whole.

Indeed. Of all the tv shows I've watched over the decade not a single one hit me with such force as the ending. To me, to this day, it's the greatest single moment of television I've ever seen. Truly stunning.

Mostly in sequence but I will watch an episode twice, like J. "Digger" Doyle right now, if I feel like it. So it's "both" for me.

Setting aside the obvious about Erin Grey, to me the most stunning thing about her is her eyes. I've never seen a set of eyes that are sexy, happy, alluring, hypnotizing, magnetic, etc., ever. Even looking at photos of her now I immediately gravitate to her eyes and stay there. They are amazing, sim...

I think it's a very strong season. It's pretty amazing how, right out of the chute, the show had all of its little nuances already in place. There are a lot of subtle things in this season.

The howl is what got my attention, then I sort of saw something run across the screen in the background. Then my wife turned to me and said, "What was that screaming? Adelaide?" so I ran it back and saw that dog getting kicked around in the back.

Nope! I"m not kidding! I can't really tell if the dog is getting stepped ON or just stepped INTO but you can definitely see it happening behind T.C. and Rick.

Ok...wow...I don't have ANY idea how this made it past the editors and our keen-eyed flub spotters and de-flub spotters but did anyone even notice at the 28:44 mark there's a loud howling noise behind T.C. and Rick and if you look behind them you'll actually see a dog getting stepped on by a horse? ...
