Very funny episode, Luther is probably my favourite recurring character.
Not the most original plot maybe, but the lines are always well written and sharp.
Several highlights, as noted in the previous reviews.
And the voice-over dialogues add an extra layer of fun.
It scores 8.5 for me.

Re: RIP John Hillerman
I just read the news.
It's sad, but he had a long life (and happy, I think).
He will always be remembered by all of us, he will live in the Magnum fantasy world forever.
So good-bye and thank you, Higgy Baby!

Re: Home From the Sea (4.1)
I started re-watching Season 4 a few days ago. This episode is one of my favourites and one of those that I perfectly remember since I saw it on TV, many years ago. It scores 9 for me. (Being a child, I was "curious" about the fact that Magnum's father was... Sgt. Getraer from "CHiPs" (I used to wat...

Re: Magnum on Blu Ray!
Well, good for you. I think all FF TV series BD boxes are probably twice their fair price. Quality is to be seen but about extras, "The A-Team" seems to have only an interview with Stephen J. Cannell and a featurette (I guess) called "The Great 80's TV Flashback". There is no mention of extras for M...

A sequel to MPI?
Uhm... I don't know, it could work but almost certainly it won't.
A re-boot of MPI?
I don't think so!
Neither of the above - Let it be.
Probably the best choice.

I say do what makes you happy, as long as it doesn't interfere with somebody else's ability to be happy. :) That's the golden rule! I think it's an individual thing Exactly. I will say more, it works on different levels and degrees depending on what the "thing" is. In my case I think it depends mai...

Re: Ferrari 70th Anniversary: The Magnum PI
288 is an awesome ride.....like a 308 on steroids! :magnum: As a matter of fact it is, 288 was a (very) limited series of 308 modified for racing. Not to quibble, but... the 288 was a completely new chassis not a modified 308. Maybe I wasn't clear enough, with "modified" I was referring mainly to t...
