I believe DPB is part of the writting team, not sure if the idea originated with him though.

DPB was showrunner for JAG for the entire run and the idea for the show was his. His kids, Julie B. Watson and David Bellasario, were also producers/writers for the show.

My dad (he's not a veteran) watched both these shows back in the day so I did too and I still tease him about his crush on Colleen McMurphy! Friday night's episode was bad. The show's on its last legs, but they're also hampered by Covid restrictions in NY. Hopefully, it will get better....

You'd be hard pressed to to find anything that's not political in the US right now.

I watched No Need to Know and it's a pretty good episode, but the lighting and color seem out of whack. On the itunes version, every scene is dark and dingy.

I started watching, but I was just too exhausted to stay awake last Friday night. BUT......No Need to Know didn't actually air until 1/8/81, so if you missed last week; you really aren't behind!

Did anybody else watch? I don't have a lot to say about it except, the scenes with TM and TC looking for the teacher are the best parts. Also, Thomas' chambray shirt is missing a button for the epaulet on the left shoulder.
