I had no idea it was a Bellasario production or that there was any Magnum references. I'll have to check it out. What little I've seen of NCIS I liked because whatever I saw felt like a spoof of CSI, which I'm not a fan of... I tried watching it earlier this year when Ted Danson joined the cast, but...

"I don't understand why the depressing or dour character has to fit the actual man," for me it does not to any degree. I personally just can't handle the scenes and general mood I saw conveyed on Bluebloods. I don't think I was referring to any statement you made. I'm not saying anyone has to like ...

I don't understand why the depressing or dour character has to fit the actual man, since he is an actor. He did comedic stuff for a long, long time and a lot of his more dramatic work was passed over (and yes, despite the darker stuff Magnum dealt with, by pop culture history standards he's a likabl...

I met Erin a few years ago at a Friday the 13th con, and we talked for almost 1/2 hour, mostly about TV movies, but a little about Magnum as well. She is SO nice, and looks great. She actually works as a manager for other actors who do a lot of cons, so she does a booth but most of her money comes f...

That's up to the moderator to decide. I will respect his wishes. True, but I can't help thinking how one of the most amazing things about this forum is how it brings so many different people from so many different places together . Thinking back to some of the posts we've had on why people keep com...

Tom Selleck on Conan

I am not sure anyone's posted this yet, but here is a snipped of Tom on Conan O'Brien talking about Joe the dog from the Jesse Stone movies. It's really funny: http://movieline.com/2012/05/11/tom-selleck-to-uggie-drop-dead-video/ It has a couple of real LOL moments and it totally made my morning wat...

Just watching this one again now - here'a useless bit of trivia for us. I recognised the old Italian lady that TM grabs and puts in the boot of the car when she walks out of the kitchen to feed the cats. It's the same woman who played Joey's Grandma in an episode of Friends when he was supposed to ...

I had to rewatch this episode after reading some of the comments here. I loved it. It's been awhile so I got a little misty at the end. I love how they introduced the way the war haunts the characters. It's so well done. Especially that last shot of Tom in bed as they bring home the bodies of some s...

Magnum/Phil Collins YouTube video

Has anyone seen this YouTube video someone put together with clips from Mangum? The song is Something Happened on the Way to Heaven by Phil Collins:

It's really fun, except every time I see clips from Limbo, I get a little choked up.

I've been on a crazy Murder, She Wrote obsession lately. I'm on season 7. I passed up this crossover episode because I hardly remember it and I want to watch both episodes together when I have more time to bask! :) I have a feeling I'm going to love it. Lansbury and Selleck! Should have been a cop b...

I'm not sure it was ever mentioned but how old was Magnum when his mom remarried? If he was a teen or older, he probably just opted to keep his own name. Plus, yeah, the stepdad was a jerk!
