I always liked this episode, particularly because of the strong introduction of LT Tanaka. There is a lot of good chemistry between him and TM, carried mostly by Kwan Hi Lim. He was a cool cat and good detective. Love it when he extorts TM's Detroit hat in the end.

Just re-watched this episode again, and it is still one of my least favorite episodes. For all the excitement over Judith Chapman, she is squarely the reason I don't like this episode. Dumb plot. This was a "good" character for Judith Chapman who seems to be a renowned Soap Opera star. I really don't like either episode she was in. That being said, the whole "Mable Dodge" build up leads to a real classic ending. Love it!
